Monday December 9th, 2019

Highlights:
  • Bridlewood School will be collecting items for those who are in need to get through the cold winter. This initiative is in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association’s (CHMA) work to help people in the Calgary community.
  • We worked on multiplying decimals today and some of our work with larger numbers.  We discussed clues that are in word problems that can help us choose the correct operation.
  • Reading comprehension about cell phones sparked our interest and lead to some insightful thoughts about cell phones in the school.
  • We ended our day by watching Lorax.  Students summarized, made connections and created questions.  The deeper connection to Lorax is to Trees & Forest focusing on human impact and deforestation.
  • 8 school days left!!!
