Thursday November 7th, 2019

Highlights:

• We had our Trees & Forest test today
• Our artwork of the poppies will be displayed on the wall for the assembly tomorrow. 
• We listened to a few letters that we wrote to the veterans thanking them for their service.  All of the letters were thoughtful and will be sent to the veterans. When deciding who was going to represent our voice in the assembly tomorrow the class decided that they wanted to make the decision about who to pick in a democratic way so the students voted.  Ethan will be sharing his letter tomorrow and thank you to all the students who offered to speak on behalf of us. 

• For Evidence and Investigation, we tested our detective skills looking at our finger-prints with magnifying glasses.  

• *** Thank you to those parents who have sent me an email about volunteering for our upcoming field trip to Youth Links (Calgary Police Interpretive Centre) on Thursday November 21st.  I will be sending the forms home soon!
