Highlights:
- We started working on our “Life of a Tree” stories from the point of view of the tree. This will continue to be our focus for Literacy this week.
- Estimating multiplying decimals was a focus for math. We made a few estimations, discussed overestimating and underestimating and where it is applicable in "real life."
- For Evidence and Investigation, our focus was looking at hair and fibre as evidence at a crime.
- We worked on our Seven Sacred Teaching visual journal page. Students need to pick a teaching that will guide them throughout the Grade 6 year.
- Youth Links (Palamar/Steeves) - Wednesday November 20th
- Youth Links (Wagenblast) - Thursday November 21st . *** There will be a $6 payment for this field trip. Payment can be made through your child's My CBE Account.
- Non-Instructional Day - Friday November 22nd (no school)
