Friday January 24th, 2020

  • Students have become "experts" researching events that would make the news regarding the planet they are learning about.  They are organizing the information into an inverted triangle and will be taking on the role of a "journalist."
  • Creating the Solar System and molding our classroom 'moonscape' was an exciting part of our day yesterday and today.
  • We will be building a moonscape in our classroom.  It is not necessary, but if you are able, please bring in some salt clay to help us create the surface of the moon.  The recipe is below.  Please put it in a plastic bag or container so that it does not dry out and bring it to school.  Thank you!!!

Reminders:
  • Please return report card envelopes - A.S.A.P
  • Tuesday February 4th - 3:30 - 4:00 pm - Mandatory Meeting about Outdoor School for those who missed the first one.
-  We require at least one parent to attend as we must ensure we provide an opportunity for parents to receive all relevant information and have any questions or concerns addressed.  Students are welcome and encouraged to attend as well.  We will have you sign in and then provide you with an information package for you to take with you to prepare for this exciting learning opportunity.
