Thursday January 9th, 2020
  • In Math, students wrote about the "Factors" for the following numbers and the colours that corresponded.
  • We read Chapter 2 & 3 which were titled, "Dreams" and "A Magic Pencil."  What would you draw with your "magic pencil" to improve the world around you?
  • We continued our Visual Vocabulary of "Space Words" researching the meaning of the words.
  • Students continued reading the article about drones and answering the questions to show the understanding of what they read.
  • Our day ended again with the provocation “Dare to Dream."  The focus was on the final launch from "October Sky."  Discussions in small groups and as a large group were based upon the following: How to be resilient, How do you follow your dreams against the odds?, What questions would you research if you were picked to colonize the moon?, and What would you need for survival?
