Monday January 27th, 2020
- We explored how many different shapes students can make using 24 units as the perimeter.
- Continuation of the visual vocabulary went by quickly today. Students are creating a "word wall" based on Space Science vocabulary.
- Students continued organizing information about their planet into an inverted triangle and will be taking on the role of a "journalist" by writing a news article.
- A few of our planets were put up on the bulletin board today and our moonscape now has a few craters. Specifically the 'Tycho Crater'
- We read Malala today and have reached the part of the book titled "Finding my Voice."
- Groups started planning how they will present their information about their planet to the class.
- We ended the day talking about everyday being "Literacy Day" and Mrs. Wagenblast shared a few of her favourite picture books. Students voted on a book to read.
